I am taking a chance that Drew does not read my blog. I have been working on a "Sudoku" quilt for him. The quilt is nine, nine patch blocks. Where none of the colors repeat in any of the rows or nine patches. It was fun to do. Drew picked the colors and I did the rest. All it needs is the binding and then it can be a hug from his mom in his new home in Nashville. He will be leaving in a couple of weeks. He is going to go and live with some friends and eventually go to school for music engineering. I am happy that he has a plan and is moving on with his life, but I am sad that he is going to be living 6 hours away.

The back is almost a pretty as the front. I love this fabric and am happy I got to use it on the back of his quilt.
I love it. I'd like to make one for Sherilyn this year for Cel Sum. How big are the squares? Do you remember yardage? Wow and that's on your bed so it's big.
ReplyDeletethanks, i love it too! I think the back is cool too. I had fun quilting it with swirl echos. Each "number" cut 8.5, so squares finish 24. i cut 1/2 yards of each (i think). sashing 3 inches borders 6 standard t-shirt stuff for borders and sashing.
ReplyDeletefinished 90x90.
